Hi, I am a week on from having cancer surgery, just wondering if there is any other support I may be entitled to, illness benefit is not going to go far. I have worked my entire life and I do not the ins and outs of getting assistance.

Thank you for posting on our online forum. I am sorry to read that you had cancer surgery, and I do hope that you are recovering well. I am sure that this is a worrying time for you, so I am glad that you have reached out for support.
I have attached information here about some of the services we provide. Pauly, perhaps you would like to speak with a cancer nurse on our support line. We can explore your concerns and make suggestions that may be helpful. We also have a Welfare and Support team that we can refer you to, if needed. Our number is 1800 200 700, and we are here Monday-Friday, from 0900-1700. I do hope that we hear from you.
