Migrant communities’ needs assessment : survey
The Irish Cancer Society seeks to support all people living with and beyond cancer. Inclusivity is a core value of our Strategic Plan. We would like to learn about the experiences, needs and challenges facing migrants from all backgrounds when looking to access healthcare services in Ireland. The research aims to help inform policy and practical recommendations for Government and health services to meet the needs of migrant communities.
The Irish Cancer Society has commissioned TASC – Think Tank for Action on Social Change, a public education charity – to research the needs of migrants/migrant communities living in Ireland. TASC will conduct a survey, interviews and focus groups.
The survey is available to all arrivals to Ireland, including EU/non-EU residents, people seeking refuge or asylum, people living in Ireland with irregular legal status, Irish nationals who have returned, etc. You must be 18 or older to respond to the survey. You do not need to have a history of cancer to respond to the survey. No answers you give in this survey will be attributed to you.
Please take the survey here.
