Why partner with the Irish Cancer Society?

The Irish Cancer Society is the national cancer charity and our work is at the heart of every community. What’s more, getting involved with the Irish Cancer Society can be wonderfully motivating for staff and customers as well. Our team approaches each relationship individually, working with your staff to come up with a unique plan for your company.

How your company can support us

We know different companies like to do things in different ways. That’s why we offer a range of options from which you can choose, from sponsoring a campaign to setting up a payroll-giving system.

Our corporate partners

The Irish Cancer Society depends on the support of corporations and individuals across the country to fund our work. We receive no state funds towards any of our services and our ability to have night nurses in every community, to have patient support services and to provide care in the hospitals is reliant on people just like you.

We work with companies to develop bespoke campaigns and calendars of activity that fit their specific needs. Contact us to learn more about how you and your company can get involved.

How to support us
Ways for your company to join the Irish Cancer Society

Strategic partnerships

Strategic partners are companies that support our work in a number of ways, from volunteerism, to employee fundraising activities, to grants towards our services.

By aligning themselves with our work, companies see a direct benefit to employees and customers and enjoy an ongoing association with our staff.

Employee fundraising

Employees working together for a charity increases staff morale and motivation. It is also a wonderful way to enhance teamwork and project a positive corporate image. Employee fundraising activities can range from a table quiz to a family day out.

Cause-related marketing

A partnership between a company and a high-profile charity such as ours builds brand loyalty, increases company sales and shows a commitment to a worthy cause.

Corporate sponsorship

The Irish Cancer Society runs major awareness campaigns and fundraising events and activities throughout the year. The campaigns are high profile, gathering national & regional media attention and reaching people across all walks of life in Ireland.

By supporting these activities companies have the opportunity to align their brand with the Irish Cancer Society and to enjoy a positive feeling with staff, customers and people across Ireland.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Donating much-needed funds makes an immediate impact at the Irish Cancer Society. Whether given to a specific programme or not, it positions your company as a generous corporate citizen.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a simple and effective way for employees to make regular payments to a charity directly from their salary. Many of our corporate partners will match employee gifts and donations.

This is a great incentive to fundraise within a company and allows us to fund cancer services and provide support for people with cancer and their families across Ireland.
