TV Documentary for BBC NI

My name is Eamonn and I'm making a new documentary for BBC Northern Ireland which aims to try and understand more about the psychological, physical and emotional impact that cancer can have on the someone suffering from the illness and their loved ones. We need people to share their stories as part of the film.

Please let me know if this is something that you could help us with.

Many Thanks
Eamonn

Hi Eamonn,
I have just joined the message board, so only just seen your post. I'm wondering if you've read a book about the emotional impact of breast cancer that blew me away. It's by a psychologist who's had breast cancer herself, called [i:1q0fkroz]The emotional impact of breast cancer, an alternative handbook [/i:1q0fkroz]by Dr Cordelia Galgut. It's really on the money, easy to read, has quotes from women and explains that it's normal to go through a mass of emotions. I found it really supportive, made me feel normal! I'm sure it's worth a look for you.
Good luck with your programme,
Kazey
