inconclusive PET SCAN
Had a PET Scan on January 2nd after my 6 circle of chymotherapy and results were inconclusive which my consultant was NOT great help in discussing it, only said they have to have meeting with team and then give me result. I have to say that I had one PET Scan done after my 4th circle and it was great as the consultant said cancer is gone. But I am confused now with inconclusive result after my 6th and final circle. I don't know if I mentioned that lymphoma 2/3 stage. I would appreciate your response

Thank you very much for your comment Cancer Nurse, I really appreciated your comments and guidance to my query. I did started my maintenance circle ie RITUXIMAB on Tuesday 22nd. will be seeing the consultant next Wednesday 28th. Hopefully all will be sorted out. Yes it is very conscious time for me, and I would appreciate all the help and guidance from yourselves and any other members of the community. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any information or any other matters would be much appreciated. Kind Regards Raz
Dear Raz
Thank you for posting on our online community. This is an anxious time & I am sorry you that you have to wait for the outcome of the multi-disciplinary team meeting for peace of mind. Inconclusive would mean that your consultant wants the advice from the radiologists and others within this large MDT group of experts to reach a definitive decision on your PET scan results.
It would be great to talk to you further on our support line Raz about this and how you are. We are all cancer nurses on this support line. We can also tell you about the various supports available to you at this time.
Our phone number is 1800 200 700 and we are here Mon-Fri 9-5pm and it would be great if you could give us a call
Kind regards
