Hi, in the process of drawing down our mortgage and I am struggling to get mortgage cover now I have a breast cancer diagnosis. Has anyone else been in this situation? I am over half way through chemo & immuno with curative intent. I'm doing well and am working full time. Any help appreciated

Thank you posting to the Online Community and I do hope you get a response from someone soon.
I am sorry to read you have been diagnosed with breast cancer, but it is good to hear that you are doing well and continuing to work full time. It can be difficult to get information on mortgage cover when undergoing chemotherapy. I have attached a link here to Insurance Ireland who cover all types of insurance in Ireland and help advocate for consumers like yourself and can look at how you can get mortgage cover.
The Irish Cancer Society also have a Welfare and Community Supports Team that can help advise you on how you may be able to get cover. They can be contacted at communitysupport@irishcancer.ie.
