Last reply: 20 January 2013 11:19

Hi guys

Can't do Tamixofen because chemi has given me
Clots so they are starting me on these next week.

A few questions for anyone who has has these - what were the side effects and how did you deal with them.

Was it better to take first thing in the morning or before bed? With or without food.

Thanks guys any tips or hints gratefully
Received.

Am on an AI as part of trial. AI's are mainly used for post menopausal women or others that can't tolerate or take tamoxifin. Am on aromastin also known as examesthane.

Main SE are the menopause! And with that hot flushes, loss of libido, vaginal dryness, dryer skin and s few extra aches and pains. There are things you can do and take that make these SE bearable. For me I am not too badly effected insofar that the SE's are manageable. Pilates, ky jelly, eating less sugary stuff, less alcohol, and a bit of exercise help, I just have to be more diligent to continue to do all those things!!

Best of luck

Wow those SE's sound terrible.....first cancer takes away your hair then it takes away your sex life - not that its brilliant Image removed. What more is this bastard going to take?

Dane and LindyLu best of luck with it
