Prostate su

Hi everyone, had a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy on March 24th 2025. Procedure went well and was discharged the next day. I'm 49 years old and I was diagnosed back in July 2024 after MIR scan and did biopsy to confirm it in September 2024. I was very lucky I found the cancer because went to my GP in January 2023 and had an issue with my semen and was prescribed antibiotics and it cleared up, it was a urinary tract infection. My GP said he would check my prostate with a blood test and DRE. Blood test showed my PSA score was 3.2 and DRE showed prostate slightly swollen. That result for PSA score sent alarm bells ringing and now after my surgery I'm waiting till 20th May to get the all clear please God. It has been a tough journey for the last 2 years living with cancer but hopefully I'll be ok.

Thank you for the reply, well my check up date finally arrived and thankfully I got the all clear, PSA was nil and pathology report said negative margin. I'm so happy today. Over the moon, thrilled to tell the tale. Thank God
