Take part in Shave or Dye this summer.

Why not try a whole new hairstyle, show off a new look on your holidays, or host a fun fundraising event and raise money to support people affected by cancer at a time when they need it most? You could even dye your hair to match your outfit for the festivals you are heading to this summer! There are lots of ways to get creative!

We would love for you to get involved with your college class, clubmates or a group of friends. If you are under the age of 18, please ask a parent to help you register!

By shaving or dying your hair, you are showing your support for thousands of people who are going through or have gone through cancer treatment.

Your Shave or Dye fundraiser will help us fund life-changing cancer research and provide free cancer support services, such as our Support Line, Peer Support, Counselling, and Night Nurses, to cancer patients and their families across the country.

Hair Donations

Unfortunately, we cannot accept hair donations, but if you would like to donate your locks, see some of our top suggestions!

The Rapunzel Foundation in New Ross is an Irish Charity that accepts hair donations. You can learn more and contact them here.

You can also use The Little Princess Trust in the UK. They provide wigs or funding up to €1000 to children or young adults up to the age of 24, both in Ireland and the UK. The website for the Little Princess Trust has a list of requirements for usable hair.
