Daffodil Day, 20 March 2026

Watch this space for details on how to sign up and get involved.

Every three minutes, someone in Ireland hears those three life-changing words, ‘you’ve got cancer’. It’s predicted that 1 in 2 of us will hear that news in our lifetime. This is why every year on Daffodil Day, Ireland turns yellow as people stand together against cancer – to bring hope, provide support and drive progress.

Daffodil Day is Friday, 20 March, and your support funds expert cancer nurses, groundbreaking cancer researchers, and a range of vital services to help people navigate cancer.

Check back in to see how you can get involved. You can also donate today!

Where do your donations go?

The Irish Cancer Society typically receives only 5% of its income from the Irish Government, so it’s thanks to your generosity that we can continue to provide vital free services and support, ensuring nobody in Ireland faces cancer alone.

Your generous donations fund groundbreaking cancer research, cancer trials and crucially, free support services for people affected by cancer, throughout Ireland.
