Night Nursing

Our service supports patients to remain at home for the last days of their lives, surrounded by their families and loved ones. We offer up to 10 nights of end-of-life care free of charge for cancer patients. This is a unique service in Ireland, providing night-time palliative nursing care to cancer patients, mostly between 11pm and 7am. 

We support adults, children and adolescents referred to us by a healthcare professional caring for your loved one. Members of the Specialist Palliative Care Team in the community and hospital palliative care services can request a Night Nurse directly from us for their patients. 

Although we try our best to provide a Night Nurse to all patients, we may not always be able to guarantee the service.
