Make A Splash A Day In May
Join us for our second year of Make A Splash A Day In May! You can jump, splash, swim or quickly dip into the water every day throughout the month to support cancer research.

Supporting Cancer Research
The Irish Cancer Society is the largest voluntary funder of cancer research in Ireland and we are committed to improving the lives of cancer patients in Ireland through research.
This life-changing research is made possible by supporters like you.
Set up your Facebook fundraising page
Creating a Facebook Fundraiser is a great way to raise funds. Your friends, family and co‐workers can donate easily and securely through Facebook, and the money is directly deposited into the Irish Cancer Society bank account.
You can create your Make a Splash a Day in May fundraising page with one click here: https://givepanel.me/fb/yTeMfx1F
Set a goal
Having a set goal to reach is a great motivator to help you reach your target and will also encourage your family and friends to support you to help you get there!
Track your Swims
We created a Make A Splash A Day In May Tracker to keep track of each dip you do. We also have other downloadable materials above to share on social media to help promote your Make A Splash A Day In May and your fundraising. Check them out!
Tell your story
Use your fundraising page to tell your story about why you're doing a Make A Splash A Day In May or who inspired you to raise funds to support cancer research. If people know why you are fundraising, they will be more likely to donate towards your cause.
Give updates
Keep your friends and families up to date and give them regular updates on social media. Share photos of you doing your dips in your swim cap. It’s a great way to thank those that have donated already and who knows--it could encourage them to donate again!
Let people know
Share your online Facebook fundraising page on your Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp or even Tik Tok. And don't forget about email! Have your fundraising link in your email signature.
Tag us
Don’t forget to tag us so we can like and share. Tag us on Twitter @IrishCancerSoc and on Instagram @IrishCancerSociety and use the hashtag #MakeASplashADay In May so we can help you spread the word!
Government guidelines

Do I have to do a swim every day in May?
