Daffodil Day is the Irish Cancer Society's annual fundraising campaign where communities across Ireland come together collecting donations and sharing stories to support the fight against cancer
Shannon is an Irish Cancer Society volunteer who helps bring Daffodil Day to Waterford City each year. She has Daffodil Day in her blood, with her grandmother organising the first-ever Daffodil Day event in Waterford, and her father Des now serving as chair of the Waterford volunteer committee.
