Relay For Life is a 24 hour event that brings the whole community together to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, to remember those whom we have lost to the disease and to fight back by increasing our knowledge of cancer and by raising money to fund vital research and services of the Irish Cancer Society.
At Relay, teams of family members and friends commit to having at least one member of their team walking around the track at all times. While they are doing that, a festival of fun, entertainment and community takes place which unites everybody in the fight against cancer.

Relay For Life is a 24-hour community celebration which honours all those who are affected by cancer. The Irish Cancer Society hopes to bring Relay For Life to every town and city in Ireland.
At Relay For Life, whole communities come together united against cancer to Celebrate life, Remember loved ones lost to the disease, and Fight Back against cancer by raising awareness about cancer prevention as well as raising funds to support the Irish Cancer Society's mission to stop cancer.
Relay For Life events raise vital funds to support the work of the Irish Cancer Society. At the heart of each Relay For Life event, teams of friends, neighbours, families and colleagues come together in groups and commit to keeping participants walking around a track or path for 24 hours.
Fun and exciting activities take place throughout the 24 hours to create a wonderfully festive atmosphere.
The Never Give Up 5k/10k road race is a charity event in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. It is taking place on Sunday the 28th of July 2019 in the village of Inch, Gorey, Co.Wexford. There is a 5k and a 10k option to choose from and both take you on a scenic loop around the countryside, once for the 5k and twice for the 10k. The course is an AAI measured route.
All proceeds of this event will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society, the national charity for cancer care here in Ireland.
