Strictly Come Dancing Killarney is an entertaining night of dancing – watched by over 1500 people thanks to the generous support of locals - has now been running for more than 5 years.

12 couples, trained over the previous weeks, take to the INEC floor in March for the Killarney and South Kerry branch of the Irish Cancer Society.

About Strictly come Dancing Killarney

In association with the South Kerry Branch of the Irish Cancer Society, come and see local celebrities performing different dance routines like jive, foxtrot and many other styles.

The Couples will perform a solo dance along with a group dance with old favourites like the Cha Cha Cha, The Rhumba and Quickstep, followed by a wine and cheese reception. All tickets available from INEC Box Office 0646671555, Who’s for Shoes and Variety Sounds with proceeds going to the Kerry Branch of the Irish Cancer Society.

“We’d like to thank the people of Killarney for their generosity. We’ve had 364 palliative care nights for 66 patients in Kerry this year. We also do the volunteer driving scheme and have had 336 drives for 41 patients this year, the Daffodil Centres provide face to face advice and we do Breast Check and Bowel Screening as well as advocacy work in relation to parking for cancer patients and have this year provided 500 hours counselling to those wrongly diagnosed by Cervical Check. A big part of the fundraising money will go to cancer research which is ongoing.” - Kathrina Breen, Organiser
