Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre

The Gary Kelly Cancer a support centre for people living with cancer, their families and those who care for them. The centre offers holistic and complementary therapies, education and psychological support which is nowadays regarded as part of standard support for people with cancer. 

The Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre extends a warm welcome to everyone over the age of 18 who is living with cancer, their families and those who take care of them, living on the island of Ireland, no matter where they are receiving treatment. Services are all free of charge and a referral is not necessary.

We offer holistic and complementary therapies, education and psychological supports with one-to-one counselling, a nurse counselling service, physiotherapy, Reflexology, fitness classes, Yoga, Qi Gong, Meditation and chair-based exercise classes, which are available both online and onsite.

We also have several groups that meet monthly including Mindfulness Groups and various other support groups e.g. men’s and women’s Secondary Cancer Group, Multiple Myeloma Group and a Carers Support Group.

We host talks and activities for our clients every month on topics like Returning to Work, Lymphoedema Management, Dietician sessions, Dealing with Fatigue, Cancer Survive and Thrive, Sleep Therapy, Flower Arranging, Decoupage, ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ and Art Therapy.

Weekly onsite wig service and a prosthesis/lingerie services are available. Access to a welfare officer for information about entitlements and a free legal advice service are also available. We provide information about transport for our clients.
