The Irish Brain Tumour Support Group has been running since 1990. It has three support groups based in Dublin, Cork and Galway, where Cancer Care West provide support.

Each support group meets on a monthly basis and provides emotional support and information to individuals diagnosed with brain tumours and their families. The Support Groups are community based and were set up by people with brain tumours and their families. The support groups are currently supported by various health care professionals.
