Meet Stephanie, the face of Daffodil Day

Meet inspirational cancer survivor Stephanie Powell – the face of our Daffodil Day campaign. Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 after hoping that a persistent lump would go away. It didn’t. Stephanie had an aggressive form of cancer.

She had the lump removed, six months of chemotherapy and a course of radiotherapy. Now Stephanie is determined to raise awareness of cancer and funds to support patients and survivors.

Stephanie said: “I feel privileged to be the face of the Daffodil Day campaign this year and I know how important it is. I’m so grateful to have survived cancer and see cancer research as hugely important in the fight against cancer. That’s why it’s vital to support Daffodil Day. Your support saves lives – like mine.

We want to say a huge thank you to Stephanie for sharing her story with us as part of our Daffodil Day campaign!
