Horizon Europe webinar poster

This month, the Irish Cancer Society will kick off the first of a series of activities focused on the EU’s new Horizon Europe research programme. The aim of these supports will be to provide a programme of engagement and information to prepare cancer researchers in Ireland ahead of the launch of the new programme in 2021.

This series of supports will focus on topics to help encourage cancer researchers in Ireland to participate in Horizon Europe. Such topics will include information on the draft programme, advice on how to get involved and develop partnerships. We will also feature success stories and advice from cancer researchers who have a track-record of participation in previous EU funding programmes.

We are keen to engage with you all to help develop this series of supports for Horizon Europe, therefore we encourage all of our researchers to please email researchadmin@irishcancer.ie, with suggestions for any topics or workshops on this programme that you would like for us to cover.

On August 26th, we are delighted to host a virtual webinar from Martha Cahill the National Contact Point for Health who will provide details on how cancer researchers can start preparing for Horizon Europe.

You can find further details on how to register here.
