Audio: American Cancer Society CEO Dr John Seffrin on Today with Pat Kenny
Dr John Seffrin, the Chief Executive Officer of the American Cancer Society, was the keynote speaker at the Irish Cancer Society's 50th anniversary and new strategy statement launch event on Monday evening.
During his short stay in Ireland Dr Seffrin was also a guest on Today with Pat Kenny on RTE Radio 1, when he spoke about global breakthroughs in the fight against cancer, the ongoing battle against the tobacco industry which could kill one billion people in the 21st century and his unique perspective on the work of the Irish Cancer Society in particular.
