Hello, my name is Julio and I live in Brazil. I was diagnosed with pulmonary Carcinoid cancer with metastasis and a pituitary adenoma in 2018. I treated the pituitary adenoma with surgery and currently undergo hormone replacement therapy. For the Carcinoid, I have been using medications and have been achieving excellent results! The reason for my contact is because I'm interested in doing a language exchange in Dublin for 8 months, and I need information on how I can continue my treatment while in Ireland. Could you provide me with the necessary steps to take or advise me on where I can obtain this information? I have the right to European citizenship through Poland, so I will be traveling as a European citizen.

Hi, Has anyone here used scalp cooling/the cold cap in recent years? (I see there is another post about cold caps, but it's ten years old and I don't want to potentially trigger the original poster if they get email alerts to say there have been replies to it.) If so, what are your thoughts? Did you find it successful? How much time did it add to your day? I've read that the cap should be on for 30 minutes before and 45 afterwards (the afterwards time seems short - is that an accurate timeframe to expect?). Any other information that you think would be relevant or useful would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

Breast cancer

Hi I am wondering is there anyone on here that has experienced or is experiencing the overwhelming decision of receiving chemo or not with stage 0 cancer diagnosis? I am in this situation right now.I have had my surgery and 2 lymhnodes removed 1 of them had a couple of cells but overall I'm feeling good but oncologist recommends chemo and I'm really struggling to decide what's the right decision.

Hi, My consultant advised me for prostectomy since my gleeson score is 7. My psa level is 4.8. He mentioned that it might be localised mostly. Is there any alternative treatment like Nanoknife (Irreversible Electroporation) in Dublin ? I have been UK london university hospital offered this? Any advise?

I’m currently undergoing treatment for triple negative breast cancer. My oncologist has suggested a clinical trial called Sascia Clinical Trial with the drug called Sacituzumab Govitecan. I was just wondering if anyone else has taken part in this trial and if you could tell me about your experience with it and the side effects?

I am recovering from Prostate cancer surgery and am now most likely facing lung surgery. Shortly after my prostate surgery I had to use the accessible toilets in Hueston Station. Unfortunately they were locked with no information about how to have them opened. Unfortunately the delay caused me to soil myself in a very public way. The experience was horrific, worse than being told I had prostate cancer and now lung cancer. When I complained to Irish Rail they advised me that as I was not actually a customer I was not entitled to use the toilet and that they had no duty of care to me i.e. to open the toilet in a timely manner. This has really shaken my confidence about asking to use toilets in public places. Has anyone had a similar experience
