In grown toe nail. Poor me thread...

Hi Superwhy,

One of my toenails came back very ingrown and painful . My GP was able to cut it out and sort it for me . the other side is slightly ingrown, but not painful so I left it alone! 2 years on and my fingernails are still a mess, just can't seem to grow them

Hmmmm This cancer lark wouldn't be half so bad if it weren't for treatment...
And I'm only half joking!
I hope you can get some help for your sore toe - no joke if it hampers your normal activities, which it probably does. After all, much of what keeps us going is keeping our lives normal, or as close to normal as possible.

It was a locum in local gp yesterday. So I might go back on Monday. I am still managing to wear my heels much to my husbands unhappiness to work. Got a referral today to st Vincent's but I might try a chiropodist first.

Good woman Superwhy! The high heels will do no good to your poor ingrown nails but heck those heels will work wonders for your confidence!!!

That's mad... I have been plagued with ingrown toenails since finishing chemo . Even well over a year.. It must be the taxol and I'm sure the heels don't help either.
