Recently diagnosed

Hi my partner went to gp on Monday and was told that he’s got testicular cancer . We are now waiting on an appointment with the hospital and don’t know how to feel the worry and not known is the worst part does anyone have any advice please on how to deal with this and how long an appointment would usually take to arrive thank you

I’m sorry to read your partner has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, it must have been a shock for you both.  As you say the not knowing is the worst part, and it is normal to think the worst of the situation, many people feel the same way.  I have attached a link below with information on coping with a cancer diagnosis, if you would like to speak with a nurse for any support or advice about your situation, please call the cancer Nurseline on 1800200700.
