Hi ladies
Wishing you all a happy new year!
Thinking of the "new" improved me for next year .... lol ..... hair short, grey and curly but so novel to have hair!!!!
How long post chemo before you can colour it and does it have to be a specific type of product. Don't want to end up with it falling out;-)

Oh great I'm finished on Monday how long did it take to get hair again? I think it's six months before you can use chemicals but where I got my wig in cabinteely they offered me a free vegetable dye when my hair grows back. I'm definitely not owing around with grey hair, but I'm all for trying new things I I might go burgundy although I've always been blonde. The world will be my oyster

Hi ladies

Just to let you know that there is a new L'Oreal product called Inoa which is ammonia free. You will probably be advised to hold off on colouring your hair for 6 months after your last treatment but as far as I know, you could possibly get this product put in. My own advice on this is to ring one of the salons that use this product and ask what their guidelines are in relation to a) colouring your hair after chemo and b) using Inoa on your hair.

Because you're worth it Image removed.

If I remember correctly girls, you are supposed to have three hair cuts before you dye you hair. At least that is what the wig place in Abbey St in Dublin advised me. But of course I did not follow protocol and bought a "rinse" which lasted about 10 days. It was ammonia and something else "free!". That INOA one might be worth trying but I defo recommend a cut or two just to strengthen it up.
