Hi Deise,

Sorry you have to join this club!

The sweats while on chemo are pretty bad. I remember waking up and throwing off duvet and waking up later on freezing cold.

I am in a chemically induced menopause as part of a clinical trial and can say that the sweats are much less. I also know there are certain triggers that make for increased sweats like drinking red wine and eating chocolate in the evening. Funnily enough White wine does not seem to bring on increased sweats.

Only thing I can suggest is light cotton clothes in bed and get some exercise even a gentle walk. I have heard of others who have bought something called a chillo pillow which has helped with sleeping.

Good luck.

Hi lindy Lu
Thank you for your reply . Iv only 2 more to go and can't wait to finish. I was on tamoxifen before chemo and was fine on it so am not anticipating it to be too bad ( probably putting a jinx on my self now!)
I agree excercise makes it better and I haven't really had red wine yet . Thanks again deise
