Throat Cancer Patients, Tallaght area.

Last reply: 27 August 2015 10:08

Hi, I'm hoping to contact someone in the Tallaght area who has experience with throat cancer and coming to terms with using a peg. I would be very grateful if anyone can help. Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, I haven't been on the site in a while. What part of Tallaght are you in. If you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them. I didn't have my muscles removed they just don't work. What treatment besides surgery did your mam have. I had radio and chemotherapy but no surgery. I have my peg tube three years now and its easy enough to manage. Miss being able to eat but I'm still here. I won't be able to check back in till Monday evening so if you have questions I'll answer then if I can,

Noreen

Hi Noreen, there seems to be no way to message you on this board so I'll leave my e-mail address. If you could contact me that would be great and I'll mail you the details. Thanks.
