Irregular shaped lump

My G.P. last Tuesday sent an urgent referral to breast check for me I won’t be seen for 10 working days and i fear I will be gone totally bonkers. My lump/growth running length ways upwards from nipple. I was hoping it may have been caused my lifting weights but gp didn’t indicate either way. Any reassurance be greatly appreciated.

Waiting for an appointment to be seen at the breast clinic is a very distressing time. While waiting, the mind gets very busy creating thoughts of false senarios of what might happen ,but may not be true.
Try to distract yourself and keeping busy are your best option. It is also helpful to think about the facts in the present. For example, both you and your GP have taken the right steps to take care of you.
