Hi Andy,

Thank you for posting and I am very sorry to read about your recent diagnosis.  It is understandable and common to be feeling how you are after getting a cancer diagnosis.  Many men find it extremely difficult coming to a decision about treatment.  I wonder could you phone our support line on 1800 200 700.  We can have a chat about your diagnosis and the different treatments that you have been offered.  We have a peer support programme where we may be able to put you in touch with other men who have had treatment for prostate cancer, it can be helpful to speak with another person about their experience and about how they made their decision.  I hope we hear from you.

Kind regards,

Cancer nurse
