bowel and liver cacer

hi i was diagnosed with bowel cancer on the 12th of july 2011 about a month later i was told it had spread to my liver was a huge shock at the time is there anyone there that has been going through the same thing would be very grateful for any advice you could give me please

I’m sorry that you have not heard from anyone on the message board yet. I hope you will hear from others shortly. It is very understandable that this news about your cancer has been a big shock for you. You can phone us on the National Cancer Helpline which is staffed by specialist cancer nurses from Monday to Thursday 9-7pm and until 5pm on a Friday. We may be in a position to offer you further advice, support and information in the areas you need right now and to direct you to the nearest cancer support centre which may be in your area.
