Before / During & After Radiotherapy

Any tips / advice? I am currently recovering from surgery but will be having radiotherphy on my tongue in a few weeks.

I have just finished rads for breast cancer. I found it fine in comparison with chemo. I followed their instructions and that's the way to do it. I got quite burnt in the area underneath but it's probably a lot different for the tongue. The radiotherapy itself is painless and quick. What hospital you having it in?

Thanks Wicklow lady. I will be having it in Galway, a 4 hr round trip each day but cant be helped Image removed.

Oh I only had an hour round trip. It takes such a short time to actually get it. Mine only took one minute then I was on my way home. Best of luck
