Anastrozole

Last reply: 03 July 2013 07:36

Hi
I have started Anastrozole for hormone treatment after Breast cancer. I would like to know of other people's experience of this. I have read the information leaflet and after a few days feel a bit tired and headachy. I am hoping to be on this for a long time and would like to know how people tolerate it

Thanks
Sunny

Hello Sunny!

I have never heard of Anastrozole? Is it similar to Tomaxifen? I have been on that (Tomaxifen) now for three weeks and I can honestly say that I'm all over the place. Somedays I feel I'm covering ever emotion in the book (all in the space of a few hours!) Image removed. and am finding this combined with the total tiredness hard to cope with.. It seems these medications take time to 'settle in' and the side effects should ease...I wonder... BTW you were 'spot on' about St Lukes, I was there yesterday for 'mapping' and had no trouble finding parking.. so thanks again for that!

Anne
