Hello,

I am sorry to hear of your mams lung cancer diagnosis. It must be a very difficult time for you and your family. Unfortunately the nursing staff must respect the patient’s wishes. Maybe you could ask one of the nurses to talk to your mam and ask whether you could visit her. You could also write your mam a letter and ask whether you could visit her.

Have you spoken to any of your relatives about this? If not they may be able to suggest a solution.

It may help to discuss this over the phone with a nurse, if you feel this may help please contact us our Nurseline number 1800200700.

Kindest regards,

Cancer Nurseline
