Crizotinib

Last reply: 29 August 2018 11:08

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had to reduce their dose of Crizotinib (Xalkori). I was taking 250mg twice a day for 9 months and my heart rate plummetted all of a sudden. I had to come off the drug for almost 3 weeks and then go back on a reduced dose of 200mg twice a day.
I am wondering if anyone else has any experience with this and how it worked. Thank you

Hi there,

Thanks for your post. It is not uncommon for drug doses to be reduced when you have had serious side-effects that require treatment. This aims to give you treatment, but limit side-effects that have caused you to require further treatment. Please give us a call on the nurseline, we can discuss in greater detail. 1800 200 700.
