Liver cancer and lesions in the liver

Hi there!
My Dad has been battling cancer for almost 5 years. It originated in the colon but is now very active in the liver, and has lesions in his lungs. I am just wondering what exactly lesions are - sre they cancerous spots in themselves or are the caused from the treatment of the liver cancer?

i dont know much about liver cancer, but if you go to jay-kays thread "dad has liver cancer" at least you will have someone who knows a little of what you are going through. ive recently lost my dad to oesophagal cancer but this is nothing like liver cancer, but regardless of cancer types, you are guaranteed to find friends and support on this site. if you just want to chat, give me a yell on my thread as i check in daily and i will be your cyber shoulder, trisha x.
