Triple Negative BC

Last reply: 23 December 2018 22:31

Hi folks I have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 TNBC. I have had a mastectomy and am due to start chemo in early January. I’m absolutely terrified as when I google TNBC it’s so negative. I don’t know anyone who has had TNBC so any help or advice would be really appreciated

Hi rebel

I have tnbc and I also have the brca 1 gene. I was diagnosed a year ago. I had 8 sessions of chemo, a double mascetomey and my ovaries removed. It's a frightening time there's no point me telling you not to worry. I tried not to Google and trusted my oncologist 100% write down all your questions no matter how daft they seem. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body during the chemo. It took me a few sessions before I did!!! I wish you well and I'm here if you want to ask or rant x
