Hi girls op over and Jane visited me after and said it all went well. She will see me next Monday but she's very happy even thinks what she to away may be clear (confusing or what?) she's making an appointment to see consultant dr mcveigh about my radiotherapy and I'll start in 6 weeks. It's all happening here. I'm relaxing in the elm ward and the nurses are wonderful. Going home tomorrow. Xxxx

Hi Wicklowlady,
Well done on getting through today, radiotherapy is soooo much easier than chemo, you will fly it.

Good morning Wicklow Lady,

I'm so pleased for you and happy to know you're getting home today.
Look after yourself and enjoy the time before you start Rads.

I'm in for my 1st Rads session at 2 pm today. I'm a bit nervous about it and hope it will go OK.

So sorry to hear about your friend, it's very hard on you and must raise all sorts of emotions as you go through your treatment.
You are right to stay possitive, in the scheme of things if you have to have cancer at all, not lucky Image removed. , breast cancer seems to be the most treatable Image removed. .
I have a friend with lung cancer (through smoking) and now it's spread to her brain and it is very distressing as she cannot even speak properly.

Thanks girls, funeral is this morning, hope I don't get too upset. My friends were trying to shield me earlier in the week as I was in hospital when she was told she was terminally ill. People are so kind. Xxx

I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. It's very hard to hear that someone close to you has cancer and its terminal. Especially when you are going through treatment yourself.
