Hair growth and colour

Last reply: 19 June 2014 18:37

[color=#BF0040:82ua6k5m]I'm a year finished my chemo and radiotherapy, during which I lost my hair. It grew back very grey initially but I decided to brave the grey. As it continued to grow I noticed blonde and honey brown colours coming through. I had thick, wiry, dark brown hair before treatments and now had finer, curlier hair in a totally different colour. I left it be and resisted the urge to colour it. Now, 1 year on, I have long hair, with curls and more on the honey blonde colour spectrum.

My hair has completely changed colour as it grew going from very grey to virtually no grey at all. I'm wondering if anybody else experienced similar.[/color:82ua6k5m] Image removed.

Ps wondering if I can post an image here, thanks

Your new hair sounds gorgeous! I don't know how to post an image but would love to see it.

Hi Sunshine!
If you have found the way to get grey hair to grow back (any) colour, I'm interested... Image removed.
Re photo, I believe you can probably put a photo on dropbox or picasa or such, then post a link to it in the text of your message on here.
Not sure if there is a protocol on those things - maybe the webmaster can advise?
Good luck with your gorgeous locks!

Hi Sunshine 71, your hair sounds fab. Mine came back snow white and is now very grey and I'm getting very sick of it now as I find it very ageing! On the up side it came back the same quality as it always was...strong, wiry and curly and as I've always had short hair I'm happy with it. I have had one cut at the hairdressers but not colour yet.

Looking forward to seeing your photo Image removed.
