Thanks so much my cancer girls. Deefed I would put my money on your tumour being smaller, mine went from 2.7cm to 1cm after 4 chemos. Hopefully by the end of the week deefed, Annie and I will be happy little cancer girls xxxxx

Good luck girls - let us know how you get on!

Deefed - just voted for you on www.dolledup.ie/competition. You are still in first place! Image removed. Girls if any of you haven't voted for Dee go on - it takes two minutes and she might win a New Year makeover, including styling, hair, spa break, style consultancy and loads of lovely hair and beauty products. You need to register on the site first & then you just have to pick Deirdre Featherstone's name from the list.

Thinking if you all this week,
Liz xx

No more like apprehension . They seem to be pretty sure it's going to be ok but you can't help that niggling feeling in the back of your mind but it's not long till Friday. Yes I got home today at lunchtime and I feel good not sore or anything. Ill have the champagne on ice for the weekend. Xxxx

Thanks Shirls and I am positive but you just hope against hope that it will continue as good as it has since I was diagnosed. I never thought about it till they started saying oh you need to come in on Friday for the results sounds so official. Last time that happened I was told the bad news!! No bad news this time all good please God.

Hi Wicklow Lady,

I am delighted that your surgery went well and that you are recovering well. May all go well for you on Friday and the rest of your treatment be plain sailing.

And you certainly ARE an inspiration. You had a very tough time during chemo but you always found time to write such caring and touching posts for the rest of us. The sun must always be shining in your corner of Wicklow. It certainly feels like it from reading your posts. Image removed.

Hugs

Oh thanks Kathleen such a nice thing to say. My father had cancer 3 times and my mother had it once and the big word here is 'had' and they're still here. My mam is 80 in a few weeks and she's great. I was positive then too. Before all this you wouldn't think you could be strong but what's the alternative, fall to pieces, don't think that would do anyone any good. I just feel I am so lucky as it could have been a lot worse and I thank God every day that I found it early so it hadn't spread to my lymph nodes and nothing but positivity came from the doctors so I couldn't go against that.

I hope to do some fundraising in the summer for cancer research . I want some good to come out of this situation and being in it I realise that cancer research is vital and needs money to save lives.

If I can be of help to the women on here then that makes the sun shine for me. I will continue to support as I know it's so important and I've got great support on here, it was the best thing I did joining the forum. It's the place I know where everyone understands what we are all going through. We are a unique group.
