Hi Neadi,

This is fantastic news - I'm so pleased for you.

I remember your posts shortly after your diagnosis and look now how far you've come. Good on you girl.

Take it easy and lots of meds to manage the pain.

Thanks roseo!! Just so relieved it's all over!
Isla- it's pretty rough for the first day or so after, as you feel the effects if the anaesthetic- but each day brings improvements. I just have to be really sensible now and rest up!!! (For me not easy!)
You will be scared, I was terrified, but so far I don't regret it!

Hi Neadi,
Great to hear from you so soon after your op Neadi and that everything going well so far. I'm due to have diep recon on both sides in June in St Vincents and am so nervous as it such a long op.
Your post has definitely encouraged me even a bit excited now!! Image removed.
Good luck with your recovery and well done!! Make the most of the time and rest up hopefully it'll be the last time you'll have to.
Best wishes for you,
Bernie xx
