Constant Sore Throats

Last reply: 22 January 2013 12:50

Hello all

Before I was diagnosed had got
lots of sore throats and lost my voice regularly. This continued through every Chemo session. Bit concerned about it but medics ignoring my concerns. Anyone else experience this at all?

My weak spot is my throat- in fact ended up at care doc this morn with a sinus issue. Doc has put me on anti biotics as a precaution, but really you should get it checked....

Hi Dane7
Yes - I seem to have a constant sore throat too since I've been on chemo - assumed it must be linked to the sore mouth side effect - which hasn't been too bad. I've been taking the medicated mouth wash and apart from the first time when I developed a temperature and was prescribed an antibiotic - it doesn't seem to be getting any worse.
Hope it clears up for you...
Liz
