Don't worry just take it day to day. I'm finished mine now and I can't believe it's over and it will be for you too. How many and how often? We are all here for you so ask anything. It will pass, I started mine four days before my 50th birthday on the 10th September. Hard to believe but you'll be fine and you'll get used to having no hair honestly xxxx

I'll be having TAC x6 every 3 weeks. Seriously considering doing a runner......
How does it feel to be finished??

No running, you'll definitely be ok the week before each chemo so savour them. It's unknown territory and everyone is different. When I wasn't coping on the 4th she reduced it so they won't let you suffer unnecessarily. I feel crappy now but I'm thrilled to be finished and will savour the good times this time next week knowing I don't ave to face it again. Honestly just take it one day at a time. Make yourself some homemade soup it's a lifesaver. Only thing I could eat with crackers and cheese. Best you get started and start notching them off so you can get on with your life, but you'll be grand try stay positive and strong. It's not as bad as you think it'll be honestly

I'm going on a wig hunt on Tuesday. My hairdresser is coming with me, so hopefully we'll find something suitable.

Good look with the wig take your time and get the one you are confident with, you have to wear it out in public. Did you get the link I sent for the bandanas I find the Anna hat and different scarf brilliant and loads have complimented me.

I know it's all for fine for me who is finished but you just need to go with your body, don't fight it. You will come out the other end. I had chemo on a Monday and while I wasn't brilliant for the days after I only had a really bad day on the Sunday and then from that to next chemo I was ok. Please don't be frightened of it it really is the unknown you are afraid of and once the first one is over the pattern stays much the same

I'm here for you all if you need to ask anything xxxx

Neadi and Lynn

You will be fine girls - why? cos you are women Image removed.

Neadi looking forward to meeting you in person on Thursday week and please dont be terrified - I must say I quite enjoyed my first time as it was a new experience.

Lynn I just got through 4 x AC now have 4 x T - everyone is different with chemo alright. Honestly it was not as bad as I thought. First three days was just sort of zoned but not sick and could eat no problem. From day 4-7/8 were my worst but I think about it now and think maybe it wasnt that bad - I only physicaly got sick once, I find in those days am more lethargic and tired than anything - feel like a permament hangover or being on the verge of a flue.......but from day 8/9 I am flying again so then have a "normal" 10 days which is great Image removed.

Dont be afraid it wont make things easier - go in with spirit and will yourself that you will be okay I really found this helped. 90% of things we worry about never happen so lets not waste time on them Image removed.

Lynn where are you doing yours?

Best of luck girls and as for the hair its a distand memory to be honest wish the weather was warmer and would go out more in bandanas and funky hats.......dont really mind the bald part my wig is the best hairstyle I have ever had and everyone compliments me on it when I am home its just hats to keep the baldy warm:-)_

Remember there is also good new you loose hair everywhere else Image removed. happy days

Best of Luck ps Mary be great if you could pop in to see us

I agree wholeheartedly with what deefed says it was exact same for me and I felt when I started chemo they were starting to cure me. The only time I got physically sick was when I got the bloody vomiting bug. A good bit of advice is get alcohol wipes and keep you hands clean all the time and try to avoid people in big groups, common sense as they say .

I will let you know when I'm in for radiotherapy and ill pop over the Thursday you're both in, I'd love to meet you.

Yes neadie we are all in it together and we will be fine so chin up, no negative thoughts, positivity all the way, this is the path to a healthier life.

Another piece of advice lynn99 STOP LOOKING UP THINGS ON THE INTERNET the only thing you you should look at, is this site and maybe the odd bandana site lol. Seriously, my friend who had been through it last year gave me that advice. You need to know anything ask the great women on here. Best of luck with it hopefully it won't be too hard for you
