Has anyone been able to get access to Abemaciclib? It is not yet approved for reimbursement by the HSE but I wondered if anyone has been able to get it prescribed privately. I think it costs about €3k a month.
A full HTA was submitted yesterday I believe. If you have Stage 4 cancer ask your onchologist if you can get it on compassionate grounds. They make it here in Ireland - Eily Lily. The FDA just approved it for Stage 3 as the standard treatment aling with hormone therapy and the UK has approved it. I have Stage 3 so keeping a close eye on this for the last 2.5 yrs
