Breast mri but found lesion on chest wall bone
Anyone have a breast mri that showed up clear but they found a lesion on my sternum bone,I'm so worried,anyone experience of this

I'm so sorry you are going through this.
I discovered a hard lump on my chest wall last weekend- just above my left breast. Finally got to see my GP yesterday and because the lump is on the cusp of the breast boundary she believes a mammogram wont pick it up. She said its right on the rib bone. So she has referred me to a breast consultant in galway. The wait is unbearable and hopefully I will get an appt in next 4-5 weeks.
I'm trying to keep busy....when kids are entertained I'll pop a podcast on or listen to something in my audible app while I clean the house over and over!! Trying to stay preoccupied and distracted and not think too much about it!
Wish I had wiser words for you but know that I am many others know that the unknown is rotten xx
Thank you so much,yes the waiting is just awful,got an appointment for a full body bone scan on Wednesday to see what it is.its the waiting that kills me I'm sick with worry.

I have just seen your other post where you will be going on holidays shortly...try your best to focus on the holidays, flights, weather forecast, packing bag, leaving ur house in order etc and get your mind off the scan. I known easier said than done...
I was in Dublin on Tuesday and on my return trip home I got a text with an appointment for the next day with breast consultant.
So I met him yesterday, did mammogram, and ultrasound with biopsy. I have to wait until next Thursday before results so between work and getting back to school organised I am trying to stop thinking about 'what if'. Try not spend your holiday worrying & thinking about what if's....

Sorry to hear that they found a lesion on your sternum bone. Unfortunately I don't have experience of that but when I had a CT Scan recently it was clear but they found that the scar tissue in my left breast had changed so I had to have a biopsy. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
