Implant/lipofilling after LD flap

Hey there,
I had mastectomy and LD flap surgery last summer.
The reconstructed breast is still smaller and I would like a bit more symmetry.
Any advice on lipofilling /+ small implant- side effects of surgery etc,
Any recommendations for nipple tattoo also?
I have 2 toddlers so easy recovery would be ideal.

Hi, I had a nipple tattoo done by Aisling Mahon who specialises in that area. You can find her on Instagram, she does great work and is a lovely person.

Thanks for contacting us with your question on completion of reconstruction following tor DL flap. It is normal to have a lack of symmetry following this surgery but with time, and hormonal influences the lack of symmetry as you have described can become more pronounced. My advice would be to meet with you plastic surgeon to plan a revision of your reconstruction and nipple completion. The surgeon can also discuss the type of fillers that are appropriate to use for your procedure . I hope this information is helpful.
