Tamoxifen

Hi I've been taking tamoxifen for the last 3 months & the last 2 weeks I've been getting joint pain every day. Pain, inflammation & swelling in my hands. Hip pain, sore knees & feet. It can be very painful. Does anyone know if these side effects go away or what can help them.

I am sorry to read that you need treatment with Tamoxifen and that you have been experiencing pain, inflammation and swelling in multiple joints over the past two weeks.
It is important that you contact your doctor or specialist nurse to have these symptoms reviewed and addressed. Some people have reported similar events when taking tamoxifen, but treatment may differ depending on medical history.
