Hi, I had my lumpectomy 4 weeks ago and still haven't heard from oncology. I asked the breast nurse about it, she said they'll be in touch soon. Is that normal? The waiting is driving me crazy, I just want to start treatment.

I am sorry to read that you needed a lumpectomy 4 weeks ago, I do hope that you have recovered well from the surgery.
It is very difficult to be waiting for an appointment and not knowing when you will receive contact. I am not sure when you spoke with the breast nurse but it may be time to call her back and ask if she has any more information about your appointment with oncology. You could also ask the breast care nurse for the name and contact details for someone in oncology who you can contact about the appointment.
