Results from biopsy

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get biopsy results following a turbt procedure. Would 6 weeks be normal timeframe. Mercy hospital cork

My dad had his biopsy on the 1st of aug and still no results inthe cuh

The length of time waiting for biopsy results can differ between hospitals and depending on what tests they may be running. You could link in with your Clinical Nurse Specialist or your team in the Mercy Hospital to see if they have any updates.
