Pancreatic Cancer

Last reply: 27 August 2015 10:05

My husband has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we are being told the outlook is not good. He is going to St. Vincent's Hospital to see if he is suitable for an operation. I would really appreciate some information on what to expect. Can anyone help??

My husband John, just had a PET scan and a Laparoscopy, we now have to wait two weeks for the results. Why that long? We are desperate to know if it has spread. He's not great now and losing more weight, although he is very positive so I have to be too. Our family are super, they are a real support both for John and I.
Praying to Padre Pio.

John's cancer cannot be operated on, palliative chemotherapy only. The family are devastated. He's very positive though and will fight this all the way.
