Organising your own fundraising event is fun, rewarding, and can make a real difference in the fight against cancer. We’ve put together some simple tips to help guide you through the process of creating your own fundraising event.   • Nina raised over €300 for people with cancer and donated her hair to make wigs
  • Retired pensioner Marty decided to walk around for the coast of Ireland to raise money for people with cancer
  • Collins Barracks organised a cycling challenge from Cork to Youghal, raising over €2,300!
  • Castlebar Salsa Zumba hosted an 80's Zumbathon to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society!
  • Eloise and Corin lost their grandmother to cancer and wanted to help the cause by selling lemonade outside their home
  • The Irish Angus Cattle Society kindly donated the proceeds of the sale of an Irish Angus heifer to benefit the Irish Cancer Society
  • The Tobin family in Meath organised a run in memory of their dad which raised over €7,700!
  • Staff and students at CBS Secondary School hosted a school-wide Jumper Day to raise funds for people touched by cancer

How to organise your own fundraiser

  • Register your event with us
    Use our online form to submit your idea so we can make sure you have everything you need.
     
  • Have your event
    Once registered, we'll send you a sponsorship pack and help you make your event a success! Tips on running events.
     
  • Lodge your funds
    Once your event is over, you can easily submit the money you raise so we can start putting it to good use!
