Support from our cancer nurses

Our cancer nurses are here for you. Call our Support Line or visit a Daffodil Centre if you need to talk, have questions or want to know about supports and services. Our nurses can:

  • Help you to understand your diagnosis and what to expect from treatment
  • Send you information booklets about coping with cancer 
  • Refer you to services such as exercise programmes and counselling

Our range of free services are here for you

Counselling
We fund professional one-to-one counselling for anyone affected by cancer remotely (over the phone/online) or in person in certain cancer support centres around the country.
Welfare and Supports service
Our Welfare and Supports team can advise on benefits, social welfare entitlements, medical card applications, community support, legal entitlements, childcare and more. Click the link to learn more.
Peer Support
Peer Support is a free and confidential phone service connecting people with similar cancer experiences. Our volunteers are trained to provide emotional and practical cancer support.
